What TextPilot stores, and what it leaves on your device.

Last updated 10 October 2026. This page describes the software as shipped. It is not a substitute for advice about your own legal duties.

Drafts and files

Counts, case changes, cleaning, comparisons, and frequency tables run in your browser. The text in a tool is not sent to the server, and it is not written into analytics.

If you open a file, the browser reads it into the editor and then drops the file from the form. TextPilot does not store the file. Clearing the editor, refreshing, or leaving the page removes the draft from the tab. Text longer than 100,000 characters is cut off in the editor so a huge paste cannot stall the page.

What the site does not offer

There is no public sign-in, saved library, paid plan, card checkout, or advertising slot. Donations, when an address is published, are Bitcoin only. TextPilot does not see the payment and does not store a receipt.

Analytics and errors

A tool page can record that it was opened. The record is a tool name and a daily count. There is no field for the draft. If the page reports a crash, it sends the route and a short error name, not the editor contents.

Messages

The contact form stores the name, email, subject, and message you submit so veilsphere can read it. It does not accept file attachments. Do not send a password or a full draft unless you intend for that text to be stored as a message.
