About

A small toolkit for the words you already have.

TextPilot is made by veilsphere for people who need a precise count or a cleaner paste, not another place to upload a draft.

Writers, students, and SEO editors often need the same few checks: how many words, whether a title is in a sensible range, and whether a paste from a PDF brought invisible characters with it. Those checks run in the browser. The server never receives the draft.

The counters follow Unicode rules your browser already implements. Graphemes, word boundaries, and sentence boundaries are documented on each tool page, including the cases they handle poorly, such as unusual abbreviations.

There is no sign-in and nothing for sale. If you want to support the tools, the donate page accepts Bitcoin only.

Opening a text file reads it in the tab. The file is not uploaded, and clearing the editor or leaving the page drops it. Privacy describes what the site does keep.
