1. Paste
The editor is a normal text area. Nothing is uploaded while you type.
2. Read the count
Words, characters, and lengths update as you edit, using Unicode rules.
3. Save only if you want
An account stores a project after you confirm. Otherwise the tab forgets it.

How to clean text you pasted from the web
Zero-width characters, non-breaking spaces, and curly quotes survive a paste. Clean them locally before you publish or count the draft.

Meta descriptions without the myths
Title and description length are editing ranges, not pass-fail scores. Write the sentence first, then check the range that matches your layout.

What a word count actually measures
Word counts follow a set of rules. Here is how TextPilot treats words, characters, sentences, and reading time, and when to use a different row.

Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Every writing tool works without signing in. An account is only for saving projects, a Pro plan, and support tickets.
Is my text uploaded when I use a tool?
No. Counts, case changes, cleaning, and comparisons run in your browser. TextPilot does not receive the draft unless you are signed in and choose Save to account.
What is stored if I save a project?
The title, the tool you were using, and the text you confirmed. You can delete the project or the whole account from the dashboard.
What does Pro include?
Pro raises the saved-project limit from 10 to 200 and turns the sponsor slot off. The tools themselves stay available on the free plan.
